About NatureLogic

Deep ecological expertise, delivered differently.

NatureLogic is a consultancy founded by experienced ecologists with 25+ years' experience who have held director level positions within both SME and multi-disciplinary companies. NatureLogic brings together this experience with technology-enabled delivery and a network of trusted associates throughout the UK to provide additional project support.

Our approach is to understand our clients' objectives and commercial approach to a project from the outset to ensure our advice provides a strategic solution that delivers for both nature and your business. We highlight risks and opportunities early so they can be navigated effectively throughout the lifecycle of your project and advise on design to ensure that biodiversity enhancements and nature-based solutions can be incorporated that help solve other project challenges such as climate resilience and access to nature for local communities.

In a complex and changing regulatory landscape, we can help you decipher terminology, local policy requirements, biodiversity net gain considerations and emerging nature markets. As well as having in-depth experience of working with UK legislation and planning policy to facilitate development, our team have worked with the commercial delivery of off-site habitat banks and can advise on both project and land-holding scale habitat bank strategy.

Our team have also worked with organisations to understand their dependencies and impacts on nature as part of global disclosure frameworks (TNFD, SBTN and CSRD), designing company-wide biodiversity strategies, and were on the task group for the UK Green Building Council's Framework for a Nature Positive Built Environment.

We are at a critical point with the global decline of nature, both for its intrinsic value and our economic dependence on the ecosystem services it provides. We believe that when ecology is part of project and organisation-wide decision making from the outset, it is possible to find practical solutions that deliver for both nature and business.
